Does anything need to be installed on a PC for the Receiver to connect to it?

Yes, the PC requires the Blacksands Remote Desktop Service.  This allows for either:

• Simultaneous KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) control
• View Only access

All network traffic between the Receiver and the BiRDS enabled PC is encrypted using mutual TLS certificate based authentication.
