How do I set a User to the Role Administrator? – Blacksands

Administrators – global visibility and control of the organization’s Blacksands system

Administrators can create new Users by providing a few pieces of information including the User’s email address.

In the Blacksands Administration Panel select Modify Users Icon.

The select the User / Device that you wish to provision with Administration Rights.

At the bottom of the frame you will see 'Is User Admin'

The ‘Is User Admin’ field identifies the particular User and Device associated by its unique Blacksands Certificate as an Administrator. When set to ‘True’ the User and the associated Device with its associated Certificate can access the Blacksands Manager as an Administrator with full Administrator rights.

Once all the fields are appropriately filled, select the Thumbs Up icon. The User will have the Role of Administrator associated with that Certificate / Device.
